Well Visits
Scheduling Your Visit
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule, or perhaps offer an appointment to you with another provider. Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may be forced to ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Occasionally, despite our best efforts, we may run late. We will keep you informed so that you have the option of rescheduling your appointment.

Did you know regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy? Well child visits also provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
Influenza vaccines will be given yearly in the fall. They are recommended for all children. Vaccines are given according to the recommended schedule provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Physical exams after five years of age are done yearly with urinalysis and occasional hemoglobins. Hearing and vision tests are done as needed. Tuberculosis tests are done as needed.
Please note: We are using the “Universal Child Health Form” used by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Almost all schools and camps now accept this form, and we fill out this form at no charge to you. There will be a $5.00 charge for filling out any additional forms; please contact our office for more information. Additional information about extra office charges may be viewed here as well. Children with special needs (e.g. premature infants) may be seen on a more frequent basis during the first year.
